Flotsam and Jetsam est un groupe de thrash metal américain, originaire de Phoenix, en Arizona. Il est souvent associé au nom de Jason Newsted qui en fut le premier bassiste avant de rejoindre Metallica. Malgré des débuts prometteurs avec les albums Doomsday for the Deceiver et No Place for Disgrace, le groupe a du mal à percer en dehors des milieux underground.
