À propos de Flyleaf
Flyleaf est un groupe musical de metal alternatif américain, originaire de Belton et Temple, au Texas. Le groupe était auparavant connu sous plusieurs autres noms : Listen, Sporos, The Grove, et Passerby. Ils se popularisent au Texas sous le nom Passerby, mais un autre groupe possédait déjà les droits de ce nom, ils se sont donc appelés Flyleaf après avoir signé avec leur maison d'édition.
Le groupe joue partout aux États-Unis en 2003 jusqu'à la commercialisation de son album éponyme intitulé Flyleaf, en 2005. L'album est certifié disque de platine avec un million d'exemplaires vendus. Le groupe remporte un sondage effectué par Yahoo.com et nommé groupe du mois Yahoo!'s Who's Next en mars 2006 ; par la suite, il remporte le prix dans la catégorie « meilleur artiste » chez MTV le 24 décembre 2007. Flyleaf commercialise son second album, Memento Mori, le 10 novembre 2009, qui atteint la huitième place au classement Billboard.
Le troisième album de Flyleaf, New Horizons, est commercialisé le 30 octobre 2012. Peu avant la parution de l'album, la chanteuse Lacey Sturm annonce son départ. Kristen May devient de facto la nouvelle chanteuse du groupe.
